Mountain Man Motocross won Motorcycling Queensland’s 2015 Event of the Year.  The event was a joint effort between Toowoomba Motorcycle Club, Toowoomba Motocross Club and Queensland Vintage Motocross Club, celebrating 40 years since the first Mountain Man in Echo Valley, Toowoomba.

Mountain Man Motocross Coordinator Bryan Flemming says the event managed to raise $10,000 for charity groups.

Organisers donated $5,000 to Riders Against Depression (Beyond Blue) and another $5,000 to Racing 4 Disabled, a charity supporting riders with spinal injuries.

“A huge thank you to those that purchased items at the 2015 Mountain Man Motocross Charity function, donated items, and sponsored the weekend,” says Bryan.

The team at Motorcycling Queensland wish to congratulate all involved in Mountain Man for their mammoth fundraising efforts.

Photos and videos from the event are available from the Mountain Man Facebook page.
