With 200 RIDERS, the TaTC may just be the biggest dirt track event in Australia.
The TMCC Ten-A-Team Challenge came about as a way of shaking up the status quo of dirt track winners and losers, and at the same time offering a fun event that caters for everyone from novices to experts.
The format sees all team members out racing dirt track on Saturday and motocross on Sunday.
The 18, 10-rider teams include junior and senior, male and female riders, and includes THREE full female teams – also a bigger roll-up of female dirt trackers than you’ll generally see at most events. Teams gain bonus points for fancy dress, team spirit, team costumes, team banner, creativity, providing volunteers and even bribing the officials!! Novelty races are interspersed throughout both days.
Entries for this year’s event close tomorrow and the action kicks off on Saturday, so follow the event FB page to see all the action, and if you’re looking for a unique 2021 MX and dirt track event for you and a whole bunch of your mates, with the emphasis on fun in capital letters, you could do a lot worse than this one.
