Question 1: In your officiating life, what track and in what role are we most likely to find you?
You’ll find me at my local club Goondiwindi Motorcycle Club sharing between the roles of Clerk, Race Secretary or Steward I’ll help where ever I can.
Question 2: How long have you been an official and what other capacities and/or locations have you acted?
I’ve been an official for going on 7years now, I’ve acted Clerk and Steward for the Warwick & District Dirtbike Club and assisted Steward for the Toowoomba Motocross Club as well.
Question 3: How did you come to find yourself officiating?
After travelling around racing for a few years I grew to appreciate the support and work that goes into running a club and events and wanted to give that support back. I enjoy organising and running events and seeing people have a great time makes it worth it.
Question 4: What keeps you coming back?
Seeing our local club thrive, knowing I’m making a positive difference and contributing to keeping our sport alive.
Question 5: Who is the most amazing rider you’ve encountered along the way?
Hard to pick, Australia’s got some seriously impressive riders though I must admit it’s been great watching Dean Ferris ride at our local track.
