Queensland’s famous Sunshine State MX series will be back loud and proud in 2025, with a new name and a few exciting tweaks – leveling up to become the Sunshine State MX Championships.
It may have seen a few names and iterations over the years, but the series has long held a reputation as the premier regional series in Australia, one which regularly attracts the country’s biggest names and strongest competition.
It’s a formula which has made Queensland the top motocross state in the country and continues to cater for all riders and abilities, but for 2025 will carry full Queensland Motocross Championship status for the winners.
An announcement around dates and locations will be made soon.
The new series will also see both Vets and Women’s championships included, and details around an exciting new junior female championship will be announced soon.
Each Sunshine State MX Championships round will feature two days of racing, although each class will only compete on one day.
We’re looking forward to a winning 2025, so for all the latest information, please stay tuned to the usual socials as further details are confirmed.
