Last month’s Motorcycling Queensland Centenary Night of Champions was considered by some to be the best ever.
The annual MQ Awards Night recognises the contributions and achievements of Queensland’s best and brightest riders, officials, volunteers, clubs and major events.
On the occasion of our centenary we needed a location with the right amount of prestige and history of its own to do justice to our special night, so we chose City Hall in the Brisbane CBD.
We were very excited that almost all of our favourite corporate partners were able to join us, including MXstore, Aly-Tek Racing Components, Battery Central, Intertrade Signs and Printing QMP, and a couple of new faces like AMA Maintenance Alliance and IDMG.
A fantastic night unfolded for us and 150 guests, with fantastic food, Brett strumming out some mellow tunes on the guitar and MQ’s John Pinnell and Channel 9’s Garry Youngberry MCing the event.
A long and impressive stream of Queensland motorcycling identities was awarded for their deeds and even Jett Lawrence appeared (in video form) from his testing base in Florida, to accept his Award.
In short, A fine time was had by all, and we hope you can join us for the next one in December 2025!
