The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is one of the most important responsibilities of any club committee. It is the formal meeting where members are provided with an overview of the club’s activities and financial position, and where key decisions are made about the future of the club.
A properly conducted AGM ensures transparency, accountability and compliance with governance obligations. It also provides members with confidence that the club is being managed appropriately.
